This project provided a unique alternative that will require no lawn mowing and gives shade/coolness for the air conditioner. See the before and after photos.

This yard project was completed in stages to ultimately provide privacy and to separate outdoor spaces for different uses. Our work included two arbors, the patio, and privacy gardening.

          On December 5 th we braved the cold and wind and entered two Valley Outdoors floats into the Chilliwack Parade of Lights and Sound this year. Last year we entered one float and came away with a trophy- this year we managed to win First Place for First Timers!! Go figure! Well we appreciate the recognition for all of the hard work and dedication it took to make this happen. Jamie and Justin pulled some double shifts getting the floats built and put together, only to have to rip them apart on Sunday as the trailers were needed for work. Our friends and family all came out for support and it sure was fun- even in the cold! The great music Justin played kept us and the crowd moving and smiling the whole time. See the pictures!

The Lawn Mower

           On Saturday, November 7th our team of volunteers gathered leaves and yard trimmings in exchange for food items for the Chilliwack Food Bank. We want to thank everyone who donated their time and efforts on a drizzly day and to those who made food and cash donations. The day was a huge success! We raised 600 items for the Chilliwack Food Bank in one day of raking! Thank-you Chilliwack!!
